Forty days after WordPress 3.0 was released, the WordPress team is releasing version 3.0.1. The release fixes 55 minor issues including the incompatibility problems with PHP 5.0.5 and the export errors. WordPress 3.0.1 like 3.0 underwent a lot of testings making it one of the most stable releases of WordPress.
By now, you should have a link on your dashboard prompting you to update to the latest WordPress version. You can do a manual upgrade if the link is not available on your dashboard. That should not take a lot of your time. If you encounter any problem with the automated updater, deactivate all your plugins before reinitiating the update. Check the official release.
